BPW34B Overview
The Bulk protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in DIP packages. The maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 32V. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 32V should be maintained for the photodiodes. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. During a circuit, the photodiodes could release 150mW heat. Photodiode operation should take place at temperatures below 85°C. There should, however, be a minimum operating temperature of -40°C for the photodiodes. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 32V. Generally, the maximum amount of heat released by photodiodes is 150mW. Photodiodes can work properly at 32V reverse voltage in the DC circuit. To flow current across a photodiode, a voltage of 1.3V is required. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 2nA current.
