The Texas Instruments OPT101P-J is an ambient light sensor that operates at a wavelength of 650nm. It has a voltage output and can be powered by a supply voltage ranging from 2.7V to 36V. The sensor is packaged in an 8-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) package1.
